Introduction

Juicing a watermelon is easy; I just cut it up into chunks and muddle it in a shaker, then squeeze it through a strainer. You can also purée it in a blender before straining out the seeds and pulp. This cocktail is named after the watermelon-smashing comedian of the same name.

Ingredients

  1. 2 oz. gin
  2. 1 oz. watermelon juice
  3. ¾ oz. lime juice
  4. ½ oz. Swedish Punsch
  5. Soda

Steps

  1. Shake the first four ingredients, then strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Top with soda and stir.
  2. Garnish with a skewered chunk of watermelon, or with pickled watermelon rind if you’re feeling especially ambitious.
