Swedish Punsch

Introduction

This punsch recipe is based on that of bartender Max Toste. Make this mixer ahead of time for concocting the Gallagher cocktail.

Ingredients

  1. 9 oz. lapsang souchong syrup (equal parts lapsang souchang tea and sugar)
  2. 6 oz. Batavia Arrack
  3. 3 oz. lemon juice
  4. ΒΌ tsp. grated nutmeg
  5. Seeds from 10 cardamom pods, ground

Steps

  1. Let steep overnight and then strain into a bottle.

This recipe can be halved.
