Left work exactly on time to pay some dear respect to the Union Square Farmer’s Market in New York City. When it comes to seasonal produce, early summer is the perennial favorite. Originally, I came to the market to cure a sweet tooth. This time, Andrew’s Honey booth caught my attention among the other vendor’s half hour super discounts on unsold sweets and bakery items (hint, hint). The honey vendor offered a free one-eighth a teaspoon sample of honeycomb. It killed a sweet tooth craving. Five dollars later, an eight ounce jar of gold sugar was purchased.
