Ingredients

  1. 2 oz. straight bourbon whiskey
  2. 1 barspoon of apple butter
  3. ¾ oz. maple syrup
  4. 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  5. 2 dashes of absinthe
  6. Red apple slice, for garnish

Steps

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice, and shake thoroughly. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with the apple slice.
