Cooking for Two

(post, Culinate staff)

primary-image, l

Unlike most cookbooks, which generally feature recipes for four, six, or more people, Jessica Strand's Cooking for Two offers nearly 50 recipes for just two people, from appetizers to desserts.

The book makes a nice gift for newlyweds or empty nesters, but it's also perfectly scaled for quiet, intimate dinners with a friend or neighbor. Each dish is straightforward and easy to prepare, and there are no leftovers to deal with afterwards.
