I made granola to give to our neighbors for Christmas this year, but didn't save any for our family. So yesterday was another granola-making day. I LOVE [/recipes/collections/Culinate+Kitchen/Breakfast/Crunchy+Granola "this recipe"] — the process, the result, everything. (I especially like plunging my hands into a deep bowl of oats and nuts, and mixing in the honey-oil.) I used the lesser amount of honey, and still it was nicely sweet; I also used the zest of only one orange. I also added pumpkin seeds and left out the sesame seeds … the recipe is very forgiving. I do recommend a combination of dried apricots and cherries. Hmmm. Next time, pistachios, I think.
