Help! My daughter mentioned recently that one of her teachers, upon finding out about Culinate, suggested we do an assembly at the school about food. The girls are at a small school — only about 300 hs students — but still. What do those kids, who are concerned about grades and college (not to mention sex, drugs, and and rock 'n' roll) need to know about what we do here? Of course, I know the answer: Everything. But where to begin? Food is something most teens take for granted, even though they shouldn't. How can I talk to them in 30 minutes about the essence of food — where it comes from, the purity of taste, wholesomeness — w/o losing them completely? Suggestions welcome!
