Gorgeous Green Smoothie

Introduction

We've talked about how important it is to get those leafy greens into your diet. Adding them to a smoothie is a super-easy way to get your green on and nourish your blood and immune system. Plus, this smoothie calls for only four ingredients and a few ice cubes: easy!

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups non-dairy milk (soy, almond, or hemp)
  2. 1 cup packed kale leaves, stemmed
  3. 1 banana
  4. ½ avocado, pit removed
  5. 3 ice cubes

Steps

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for one minute or until smooth.

Note

To make this smoothie a little heftier and more satiating, try adding two tablespoons of a raw nut butter of your choice.
