 h1. Dear readers,

We're celebrating our one-year anniversary with a new look -- and new features to boot. You can now email articles directly to friends and access our content -- including articles and recipes -- more easily than ever. We've also introduced [/fritter Fritter], a place to let others in the Culinate community know what you're eating. Did you make something tasty for breakfast today? Tell us about it! You can attach photos, too. Just log in to leave a message.

Starting today, our [/chocolate "Death by Chocolate contest"] is in full swing. Among the prizes are two trips for two to Napa Valley. Winners will attend the Copia Center's annual chocolate festival. There's one random drawing and one competition for [/chocolate/tools "food bloggers"] to see who can submit the winningest chocolatey post. Watch the site as the contest unfolds over the next week. It should be sweet!

Finally, here's a story not to miss: Nancy Greenleese's startling account of a blind chocolate tasting in Perugia, Italy. She liked what she didn't see.
