Twentieth Century

(recipe, Jacob Grier)

Gin and chocolate may seem like an odd combination, but it works. The drink begins as a classic sour and ends with a lingering, subtle cacao flavor. It’s unusual yet delicious.

  1. 1½ oz. gin
  2. ¾ oz. lemon juice
  3. ¾ oz. Lillet Blanc
  4. ½ oz. crème de cacao
  5. Lemon peel, for garnish

  1. Shake the gin, lemon juice, Lillet Blanc, and crème de cacao with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with the lemon twist.
