Hues of flavor

Although we've already reported on evidence that people like to play with the color of their food, recently we discovered a new spin on the topic. Parsiri Audcharevorakul, blogging at Colourlovers, selects color palettes of various dishes. For her first blog post, on Thai food,  Parsiri created nine color palettes based on such foods as pad thai and jasmine rice. 

Her second post, on Persian cuisine, matches colors for kabobs, mint and yogurt, and something called Love Cake.

Yet another reason to love cake.
