Anna's chocolate cake

Introduction

original recipe was 2/3 amount below. I added +50% so that two layers in 9" round pans were a decent height.

Ingredients

1. 3 cups white sugar
2. 3 cups sifted flour
3. 1 cup cocoa
4. 1 Tbsp. baking soda
5. 2¼ t baking powder
6. ¾ t salt
7. 3 eggs
8. 1½ cups buttermilk
9. 1½ cups coffee
10. 1 cup oil
11. 1½ t vanilla

Steps

1. Mix together dry ingredients (up to salt)
2. Mix together wet ingredients - all others
3. Add wet to dry and mix until blended. Will be soupy
4. Bake @ 350F for 30 minutes for 2 9" round pans. If using 9x13, bake longer.
