I have a recipe for granola bars that I got from the local market. I've made it several times and it's much better that store bought granola. I've been playing with the recipe and trying different flavors. This morning I made cranberry pistachio. I substituted orange marmalade for some of the honey and added orange extract instead of vanilla. It's a lttle dry but has a great flavor with a hint of orange. Next time I won't reduce the amount of honey but just add the orange marmalade. I purchased some pomegranate molasses on sale so next on my list is substituring the molasses for the honey and using cashews. I'm also working on a chocolate covered cherry flavor.
