Years ago a friend introduced me to Cham-Chams, which we would drink to start off our visits — she from the East Coast, I from the West. It's a simple but festive drink, perfect for ringing in the new year and other celebrations. It's also a nice way to gussy up a less-expensive sparkling wine.

  1. 2 oz. Chambord (black raspberry liqueur)
  2. Champagne, Cava, Prosecco, or any dry sparkling wine

  1. Pour an ounce of Chambord into each glass and top with sparkling wine.
