Sam's Brickle

  1. 1 stack saltines
  2. 2 sticks butter
  3. 1 cup brown sugar (no substitutes)
  4. 12 oz. chocolate chips
  5. 1 cup of chopped walnuts or almonds
  6. (I (Sam) uses almonds)


  1. Line cookie sheet with foil, grease the foil and lay out the saltines, as close as possible, in one layer on the bottom of the pan. Melt the butter and sugar in a saucepan, stirring frequently, until bubbling. Pour over crackers. Put in a 450° oven for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the chips over the top and put back in the oven for one minute or until soft. Remove and spread with spatula. Sprinkle on the nuts. Freeze, crack, put in bags and store in freezer. Enjoy!
