Strawberry Sangria Granita

  1. 1 basket strawberries, hulled and quartered
  2. scant ΒΌ cup sugar
  3. 1 cup dry red wine
  4. 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  5. 3 Tbsp. orange juice


  1. In large bowl, crush strawberries with the sugar. Add wine, lemon juice nad orange juice, stirring to dissolve sugar. Pour into shallow pan, freeze, stirring every hour until it's flaky and frozen.
  2. Serve alone or in a stemmed glassed topped with sparkling water adnd garnished with whole strawberries, served with spoons and straws.
