The Menominee Historical Downtown Farmers Market is sponsored by the Menominee Downtown Business Association and hosted by Timeless Treasures Antique Mall at 902 2nd Street on Thursday 3 pm to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. 
Vendors will leave as they sell out. Our market  fishermen,  farmers, and gardeners are licensed with the MDA and USDA to sell meat, fish,  and eggs. Due to the passing of the cottage food law only items made in Michigan can be sold at the farmers market.  You will find we offer a wide varieties of items which makes a this Market  worth to come to.

The market is working with the  Amanda Segar of Michigan Farmers Market Food Assistance Partnership on obtaining a Wireless Point of Sale Device.  If all is approved the market will be able to accept bank debt cards as well as the EBT cards. Debt cards would work the same as the EBT card in which wooden tokens would be given for the amount of the transaction and used to purchase fresh  fruit, vegetables, and meats at the market.  We will keep you updated as things progress.

"Know Your Farmer Meet Your Vendor" This program lets our customers have a chance to find out where their food comes from and how crafts are done and a chance to be in a drawing for a tote of goodie from the farmers and vendors of the market.  Our feature  vendor is "Ken Race" from September 9 to September 18 with the drawing on the 18 at 1pm. .  We encourage everyone to come down and find out what the special coupon punch is on "Bet you didn't Know" about him.  

Thursday Market will have  Farm Fresh Eggs, Grass and Grain fed  beef products of hamburger,   steaks, spare ribs, roasts, tenderloin, porterhouse, T-bone,  naturally raised pork products, of ham slices, chops, ribs, bacon, brats, and breakfast sausage, jams and jellies, maple syrup,Certified organic, and naturally grown  vegetables, of assorted tomatoes,   garlic, potatoes,  some summer squash,  some pumpkins,   plums, pears, fresh herbs of rosemary basil  and any other items that are available. 

Crafts will be birdhouses,lawn ornaments,cutting boards,small items of furniture, leather bags, & pouches, cat toys, ceramic jewelry, wash cloths,  homemade soaps, lotions, laundry soap, possible area photos in wood frames and greeting cards.

Saturdays market will feature Farm Fresh Eggs, all cuts of beef, and naturally raised pork products, that are listed for Thursday,  jams, jellies, homemade breads, maple syrup, 
Vegetables list is the same as Saturday with possible some apples.Cucumbers, assorted tomatoes, white potatoes,  herbs of chives, French thyme, and possible oregano.
Crafts will be boo, boo pillows, placemats, cell phone holders, book markers, quilted totes, and purses, greeting cards, leather bags, pouches, cat toys, ceramic jewelry, bird houses, cutting boards, magnets, small handmade furniture.

The market will be accepting Project Fresh, Senior Project Fresh, WISEWOMAN Market Fresh coupons and EBT cards from all States.
