All Cuts of Beef and Maple Syrup Featured at Market

The Menominee Historical Downtown Farmers Market is sponsored by the Menominee Downtown Business Association and hosted by Timeless Treasures Antique Mall at 902 2nd Street on Thursday 3 pm to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
Vendors will leave as they sell out. Our market fishermen, farmers, and gardeners are licensed with the MDA and USDA to sell meat, fish, and eggs.Due to the passing of the cottage food law only items made in Michigan can be sold at the farmers market. You will find that we are a very diverse market.

The second part of the cottage law bill passed and now allowing the sale of Maple Syrup and Honey to be sold at farmers market., Only maple syrup and honey made in Michigan can be sold at the farmers market.

Our second week of Grandma's Creations will be featured for our program 'Know Your Farmer Meet Your Vendor" with the drawing on September 4 at 1 pm. We encourage everyone to come down and find out what the special coupon punch is on "Bet you didn't Know" about her. This program lets Customers to have a a chance to find out where their food comes from and how the crafts are done and be in a drawing for a tote of goodies from the farmers and vendors of the market.

Thursdays market will have Fresh White Fish, Farm Fresh Eggs, Hopefully Thursday all cuts of beef, if not Thursday will have on Saturday, not just hamburger, but steaks, spare ribs, roasts, tenderloin, porterhouse, T-bone, naturally raised pork products, of ham slices, chops, ribs, bacon, brats, and breakfast sausage, jams and jellies, maple syrup, vegetables, of assorted tomatoes, string beans, assorted kale, garlic, some summer squash, fresh herbs of rosemary basil and any other items that are available. Possible lamb.

Crafts will be birdhouses,lawn ornaments,cutting boards,small items of furniture, leather bags, & pouches, cat toys, ceramic jewelry, wash cloths, homemade soaps, lotions, laundry soap, possible area photos in wood frames and greeting cards.

Saturdays market will feature Farm Fresh Eggs, all cuts of beef, and naturally raised pork products, that are listed for Thursday, Possible lamb, jams, jellies, homemade breads, maple syrup,
Vegetables will be the same as Thursdays with any others that are ripe.
Crafts will be boo, boo pillows, placemats, cell phone holders, book markers, quilted totes, and purses, greeting cards, leather bags, pouches, cat toys, ceramic jewelry, bird houses, cutting boards, magnets, small handmade furniture, gourds, possible area photos, in wood frames photo gift and greeting cards. Possible wool products of hand spun wool yarn, hats, socks and mittens.
The market will be accepting Project Fresh, Senior Project Fresh, WISEWOMAN Market Fresh coupons and EBT cards from all States.
