Grandma's Creations Featurer Farmer for Next Two Weeks

The Menominee Historical Downtown Farmers Market is sponsored by the Menominee Downtown Business Association and hosted by Timeless Treasures Antique Mall at 902 2nd Street on Thursday 3 pm to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
Vendors will leave as they sell out. Our market  fishermen,  farmers, and gardeners are licensed with the MDA and USDA to sell meat, fish, and eggs.Due to the passing of the cottage food law only items made in Michigan can be sold at the farmers market.  Between our farmers, and local vendors  who hand craft a multitude of items,  makes this a diverse market. 
Our Sixth Winner of  "Know Your Farmer, Meet Your Vendor is Marilyn Stark.  Marilyn name was drawn on Saturday August 21, at 1pm which featured  "Ruleau's White Fish"
for the last two weeks.This program lets  Customers to have a  a chance to find out where their food comes from and  how the crafts are done and be in a drawing for  a tote of goodies from the farmers and vendors of the market. 
Skyler Ruleau's, of Ruleau's White Fish will be leaving for Collage  in September, The members of the Menominee Historical Downtown Farmers Market and it's sponsors would like to wish him the best on his new adventure.   As details have not been worked out as of yet. we hope to continue to bring "Ruleau's White Fish" to our market  customers while Skylar is at collage and give our customers a chance to wish him the best before he leaves.
August 26, to September 4 will feature Grandma's Creations for our program 'Know Your Farmer Meet Your Vendor" with the drawing on September 4.  We encourage everyone to come down and find out what the special coupon punch is on "Bet you didn't Know" 
about her.
We like to thank the 'Community Drum Circle' for being part of our market on Thursdays.  We Greatly Enjoyed the Music. Lynn group will be meeting on Wednesdays and for more information can contact her at 
Thursdays market will have Fresh White Fish, Farm Fresh Eggs, grass fed beef products of hamburger, liver, oxtail and heart.  Naturally raised pork products of ham slices, chops ribs, bacon brats, and breakfast sausage. Jams and jellies, possible breads, Vegetables of cucumbers, beets, green beans,  assorted kale, carrots, some beets,  garlic, Assorted tomatoes, fresh herbs of rosemary basil, an hopefully some summer squash with  others vegetables  that are available.
Crafts will be birdhouses, lawn ornaments, cutting boards, small items of furniture, leather bags, & pouches, cat toys, ceramic jewelry, possible shawls, and scarf's, bookmarks, gift tags, along with boo pillows,  quilted totes,  placemats, homemade soaps, lotions, laundry soap and lip gloss. Possible aprons,  child and adult bibs, and small sewn items.
Saturday's market will Fresh White Fish, Farm Fresh Eggs, grass fed beef and naturally raised pork products.  Jams and jellies and homemade breads.  The same vegetables as on Thursday with any others that are ripe.
Crafts will be boo, boo pillows, placemats, cell phone holders, book markers, quilted totes, and purses, greeting cards, leather bags, pouches, cat toys, ceramic jewelry, bird houses, cutting boards, magnets, small handmade furniture,  gourds, possible area photos, in wood frames photo  gift and greeting cards.
The market will be accepting Project Fresh, Senior Project Fresh, WISEWOMAN Market Fresh coupons and EBT cards from all States.
