Pizza (6 hours)

Ingredients

  1. Crust:
  2. 2 cups of Flax seeds
  3. 1 Tbsp. of agave nectar
  4. ½ cup of water
  5. Sauce:
  6. 5 roma tomatoes
  7. 1½ cups of soaked sundried tomatoes
  8. 2 medjol organic dates
  9. ¼ cup of onions
  10. 1 clove of garlic
  11. Toppings:
  12. Bell Peppers cut up finely
  13. Thinly sliced avocado pieces
  14. Thinly sliced mushrooms

Steps

  1. To make the crust put your flax seeds in a bowl to soak with the water. Let it soak for about fifteen minutes. It forms a type of paste and then you spread that out over the dehydrator sheets. Put them in at 115 degrees and after about 2-3 hours score them into the shapes that you want (in this instance pizza slice shapes) and place them back in the dehydrator at the same temperature for another 3 hours or until they are crisp.
  2. To make sauce, chop all ingredients up finely and then put it all into the food processor until you get a smooth marinara. You can add some italian spices like basil or oregeno I just didn't have any at the time.
  3. Finally, when everything is done you can put your marinara sauce on the pizza as well as your toppings. Feel free to use other toppings you may like. Good luck and enjoy!
