Chunky Pumpkin Apple Butter

Ingredients

  1. * 10 C apples (peeled & cubed)
  2. * 1 can solid pack pumpkin (15 oz size)
  3. * 2 C apple juice or cider
  4. * 1½ C honey
  5. * 2 T ground cinnamon
  6. * ½ T ground cloves
  7. * ¼ T salt

Steps

  1. Use any kind of apples. Combine all in a crock pot or slow cooker; mix well. Cook on low for 14-15 hours. Freeze in 2 cup portions, if you like.
  2. Notes: Great autumn treat and a way to use up all of those apples!
  3. Number of Servings: 5 pints
