Cinnamon Rolls

The Summer of Bread made a pit stop in Wisconsin for the weekend. Jeff and I went to hang out with his parents with the intention of hiking around Devil’s Lake; however, driving though constant rain to get to Sun Prairie on Friday night did not bode well for a day of hiking. Ever the optimist, Jeff made me pack my winter coat, gloves and a hat. You know, just in case. Saturday turned out to be a chilly, damp and a not so pleasant day weather wise, so we had some time to kill. We pondered going to the gym but, in the end, decided to eat pastries for breakfast and spend the day eating our way through various grocery stores in Sun Prairie. I know this sounds like a ridiculous way to spend a Saturday, but by the end of the day we had a car full of groceries and bellies full of free samples (and cheeseburgers from the Village Green, which we paid for).
