Know Your Farmer, Meet Your Vendor Program at Menominee MI Market

The Menominee Historical Downtown Farmers Market is sponsored by the Menominee Downtown Business Association and hosted by Timeless Treasures Antique Mall at 902 2nd Street on Thursday 3 pm to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
Our market  farmers, fishermen and gardeners are licensed with the MDA and USDA to sell meat, fish, and eggs, and along with local vendors who hand craft a multitude of items make this a diverse market.

The Menominee Historical Downtown Farmer Market is running a new program "Know your Farmer Meet your Vendor"
This is a opportunity for the customer to really know where his food is coming from and a chance to fine out how the crafts are done  and get a chance to be in a drawing for a tote of goodies from the farmers and vendors of the market.

This is the last week that 'Mill Creek Farms" will be featured so come down and see how things are done and find out what the "Bet you didn't know this about him" is for the coupon punch.  Drawing for the second two weeks will be this Saturday June 26 at 1pm.

Thursday and Saturday market will have Farm Fresh Eggs, grass fed beef products, of hamburger, liver, ox tail, and heart, naturally raised pork products of ham slices, chops, ribs, bacon and brats, breakfast sausage, along with Fresh white fish, grass fed lamb products of leg of lamb, chops, stew meat, shanks and roasts.    Vegetables will be garlic scapes, spring garlic bulbs, snow peas, rhubarb, mustard greens, assorted kale,possible radishes along with  vegetable plants for sale of tomatoes, and summer squash and cut flowers..  

Crafts on Thursday and Saturday will be Adult and Childs bibs, placemats, aprons, hand spun wool yarn, tote bags, bird feeders, and bird houses, wool pellet, 

Saturday's market will have mostly the same as Thursday along with bunching onions, fresh herbs, lettuce, and salad mix, crafts will be handmade soap and lotions, and laundry soaps, small furniture items, gourds, cutting boards and assorted house plants with fresh cut flowers.

The Delta/Menominee Health Department along with the Menominee Country Extension  will  features food tasting and  free recipes ,on Saturday.   The market will also be accepting Project Fresh,Senior Project Fresh and WISEWOMAN Market Fresh Coupons and EBT cards from all states.
