Ah, Paris — city of bountiful farmers' markets, yes? Well, sort of. If you've ever been to a Parisian farmers' market in the dead of winter, you might have noticed the tomatoes from Spain and Morocco next to the oysters from Brittany — not exactly super-local. That's one reason why David Lebovitz decided to sign up for a Parisian CSA. More to the point, however: The produce from the CSA tasted fabulous. And oh, yeah, it was a relative bargain, compared to the prices in the markets. As Lebovitz noted, "People have forgotten what real food tastes like."
