Mashed Sweet Potatoes

A new staple for Thanksgiving.


  1. Sweet potatoes (about 5 medium to large)
  2. ⅓ cup whipping cream
  3. ¼ cup butter
  4. 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  5. Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste


  1. Bake the sweet potatoes until easily punctured with a fork.
  2. Let potatoes cool and peel the skin off
  3. Cut in to chunks and place in a bowl.
  4. Place butter in a sauce pan and melt.
  5. Add cream and brown sugar and heat slightly.
  6. Combine heated mixture with potatoes in bowl and mix with a mixer.
  7. Add cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.
