Cranberry Marmalade Wine Sauce
(recipe, Bluebird Farmers Market & CSA)
Two holiday favorites--oranges and cranberries--combine flavors with Burgandy red wine to make a delicious and nutritious accompaniment.
- 1 bag fresh cranberries
- 6 oranges
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups Burgandy Red Wine
- Peel the skin from the oranges and julienne the orange peels.
- Remove seeds and place oranges, peel, sugar and cranberries in pot.
- Bring to boil and cook over medium heat until the cranberries pop and become a thick syrup.
- Place in serving dish,refrigerate until set and then serve.
