Monday Dose of Market: On Guard!

A bucket of bright red crawfish caught my eye.  I used to chase these little guys in the brook at the end of the street where I grew up.  Didn’t eat them until I got a lesson in an oyster bar in New Orleans. 

I peered over the lid, leaning in to take a picture, while learning that they’d been collected from Youngs Bay near Astoria, Oregon.  I took a step forward to see what else Wild Oregon had brought to market, when I got a bit of a startle.
