PBJ cookies

Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1½ cups peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 6 cups all purpose flour
- ½ t salt
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 t vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. milk as needed
- Jelly for filling
Steps
- Cream butter, sugar and peanut butter
- Add eggs
- Combine dry ingredients
- Add dry to creamed mixture
- Add vanilla
- Add enough milk to soften enough to handle
- Form dough into 1½" diameter log. Refrigerate a minimum of two hours
- PReheat oven to 400 F. Cut dought into ⅛" slices and arrange on cookie sheet. Bake 6-10 minutes. Cool then fill with jelly
