Peeling and Deveining a Shrimp

    1. Use your fingers to pry open and pull back the first few sections of shell, starting at the large end.
    2. Remove the rest of the shell by gently tugging on the very end of the shrimp’s tail.
    3. To expose the sand vein, make a shallow cut along the shrimp’s back.
    4. Gently lift out the vein with the tip of your knife.
