 h1. Dear readers,
For years I've toyed with the convection setting on our oven, arbitrarily switching it on or ignoring it, as whimsy dictates — but I've never really mastered it. Sound familiar?

In his most recent [/columns/askhank/convectionoven?utmsource=NL20090408&utmmedium=email&utmcontent=ConvectionOven&utmcampaign=AskHank "Ask Hank"] column, Hank Sawtelle comes to our rescue. He tackles the should-I-bother-with-the-convection-setting question, thoroughly and methodically, and we can all be grateful for his research. But Hank's not letting us off the hook either. How do you use your convection oven? Leave a comment, please.
Speaking of kitchen advice: We are fortunate to be bringing [/columns/tabletalk/tt20090409?utmsource=NL20090408&utmmedium=email&utmcontent=Tabletalklaunch&utmcampaign=TableTalk "Table Talk,"] Kim O'Donnel's cooking chat formerly known as What's Cooking, to Culinate. Live! On Thursdays, beginning tomorrow, April 9, at 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m. EDT), Kim will answer your questions about cooking and food. A trained chef, Kim brings years of journalistic and internet experience to the table. We're excited to give you, our loyal members, access to her resourcefulness.

 Check it out!
