Millie's Pecan Pie

Introduction
Millie Lomont was a fantastic baker, her pies were known county wide, and at bake sales people always asked: "Which pie is Millie's?"
Ingredients
- 1 heaping cups broken pecans
- 9 " pastry shell, unbaked
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- ⅓ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Steps
- Spread pecans in the unbaked pie shell. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over pecans. Bake at 375 for 40-50 minutes or until filling is set. Note: Cover pie shell edges halfway through baking time to prevent over-baking.
