Blogger Kate Hopkins is unhappy about the way "not from concentrate" orange juice is made. According to a Boston Globe Q&A with Alissa Hamilton, the author of the forthcoming [%amazonProductLink "Squeezed: What You Don't Know About Orange Juice" asin=0300124716], that orange juice you buy in refrigerated cartons isn't as natural as you might think, being not only pasteurized but stored for long periods of time and then enhanced with "flavor packs" to make the juice taste more like fresh-squeezed. (And no, the ingredient labels don't have to say anything about "flavor packs.")
