(article, Culinate staff)

Here's a twist: Instead of telling you how to eat — remember [/books/collections/allbooks/In+Defense+of+Food '"Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants"']? — Michael Pollan wants you to talk to him about food.

On the New York Times'_ Well blog, Pollan asks readers to contribute their best food practices:

bq. "Will you send me a food rule you try to live by? Something perhaps passed down by your parents or grandparents? Or something you’ve come up with to tell your children — or yourself?"

Pollan says he plans to put the suggestions on his website, then assemble the ones he likes best into a collection. So far, there are nearly 1,500 ideas.
