Brown Sugar Oatmeal Pancakes

  1. 1 cup flour
  2. ¼ cup light brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp. baking powder
  4. ½ tsp. baking soda
  5. ½ tsp. salt
  6. 1 cup milk
  7. 1 large egg
  8. 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  9. ½ cup quick oats


  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; stir to mix well and set aside.
  2. Combine milk, egg and oil in smal bowl; whisk to mix well. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; stir until moist batter forms. Stir in oats.
  3. Pour ¼ cup batter for each pancake onto hot, lightly greased griddle or nonstick skillet. Cook until tops are covered with bubbles, about 2 minutes. Turn and cook other side. Serve with maple syrup.
