Remember sugar bowls? When I was a kid, there was always one on the table--for sprinkling over your cornflakes. Usually there was also a cube of butter on a dish next to it. I always thought that was such a perfect set-up: Wipe your finger across the butter, and then let it trail through the sugar. Instant candy! It was kind of hard avoiding being caught...
