I like Kim's idea, and think I'll go for one-a-day.  

1.  I like stale bread.  I prefer to think of it as aged bread.  But it has to be good bread, and needs to have been aged unsliced, in paper.  Then I eat it as toast, or, if it's just too hard, I make milk toast.  With milk (good milk--Noris), a little butter, a pinch of salt, and either pepper or a little sugar and grated nutmeg.  I hardly ever make French toast.
