HFCS meets PR

Nutrition guru Marion Nestle drew our attention to the HFCS Sweet Surprise website last week — an attempt by the makers of high-fructose corn syrup to disarm public fears and concerns about the ubiquitous stuff. Now two TV spots have been posted on the Accidental Hedonist, and blogger Kate Hopkins helpfully lists several reasons to be suspicious of the sweet corny stuff. And remember this?
