Looking for out-of-print or just plain obscure books about culinary heritage? Try Foodbooks.com, a bare-bones online bookstore run by the Food Heritage Press. Organized by time period (medieval, 19th century) and ethnicity (Polish, African-American), the bookstore offers titles you might be able to find elsewhere (Amazon, Powells) but in quick lists. Alas, they don't carry those beloved Time-Life cookbooks from 40 years ago.
